Premium & Pro users can now send pushes to users directly from Password Pusher. Goodbye copy/paste and manually writing emails.
New Push form field option to specify an email(s).
This new option is even supported in the JSON API.
This will notify the specified emails similar to the following. This example email is with Apnotic branding and a custom domain available to Pro subscribers.
When a Push or Request expires, sensitive content and attached files are fully deleted; however, metadata such as audit logs and original expiration settings remain. While some users require this data temporarily, long-term retention is often unnecessary.
We have added two new "Purge After" settings to the Account Policy, allowing optional deletion of this metadata after a specified period:
Pushes --> Options --> Purge After:
New Push Purge Option
Requests --> Options --> Purge After:
New Request Purge Option
These features are disabled by default. Available options for purging are:
Disabled (default)
3 months
6 months
1 year
2 years
3 years
When enabled, expired items will be deleted after the selected duration, calculated from the expiration date. Please note that once purged, data is irretrievable.
As always, If you have any questions or issues, let us know at support@pwpush.com!
Previously, when a request was created, only the creator received a notification upon response. This worked well, but teams often have diverse notification needs.
Now, Pro subscribers and their teams can configure one or more email addresses to be CC'd (or BCC'd) on all responses received.
This feature is now available in your Account Policy settings.
New Response Notifications Options in Account Policy
Teams can leverage this feature to monitor request creation by team members, ensuring oversight and accountability, or to automatically forward all responses to a designated helpdesk email for centralized tracking and streamlined support.
Thanks to all of you, the growth of Password Pusher has been incredible - way more than expected.
As a result, we have hired a new team member who has hit the ground running and is building out great new features that you all will see soon.
With the growth, we've also moved on from our launch pricing for all new subscribers going forward. You can see the updated pricing here.
For existing subscribers, there is no change for you. You are welcome to stay on your existing pricing. Thanks for being an early supporter!
As always, thanks for all of the kind words, helpful feedback and supporting the project. We will continue to do our best to build out the project to best serve the community.
It’s been a quiet month for updates, but there’s a lot happening behind the scenes:
Rolled out numerous fixes, updates, and enhanced security to keep things running smoothly.
Recently fixed an issue that was delaying the activation of new custom domains—everything should be back on track now.
Self-Hosted Pro is in active development, and we’re aiming for a June 2025 launch
Thanks for your continued support - if you’ve have any issues, questions, feedback, or just want to say hi, drop me a line anytime at support@pwpush.com!
The favicon is the small icon that appears in browser tabs and bookmarks to represent your site.
Premium and Pro subscribers can now upload a favicon on your account branding page. It will apply to pushes, requests and for Pro users, the entire site.
Need to add a few more views or update the reference note? Pushes can now be edited. A bit overdue but better late than never.
Like requests, you can now add a name to your pushes that will be used in notifications.
Custom Domains now have a JSON API
The JSON API is now available on custom domains. When making authenticated API requests to your custom domain, the account_id parameter is not required.
Requests now have a "name" field that is used in email and dashboard notifications. This will make it easier to track requests and integrate with ticketing systems.
New Name field for Requests
Editing
Need to update a request? There's now an Edit button.
New Edit Capability
Small but hopefully helpful improvements.
Those with custom domains and uploaded logos now get a fully rebranded experience. Use your custom domain directly. No more Password Pusher text or logo anywhere.
Team Status: Two-Factor Authentication
For teams that need to ensure that members have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on their accounts, 2FA status is now shown on the Account Overview page.
2FA Status now shown for Account members
This feature was added after a user requested for a way to enforce 2FA for their team. Thanks for the helpful request!

When you click your Account name in the top right of the application, there is now an improved navigation menu. The previous design was causing some confusion so I hope this helps out.
There is also an updated "Policy & Settings" page in the above mentioned menu. It includes a better layout and you can now set preferences for Requests.
Coming next
1. Full end to end branding for Pro accounts (no more Password Pusher logo & content) 2. Requests will get a "name" field to better identify responses in email and other notifications.
